Following up my own message – bad form.
 
I received two bounce messages from York both telling me:
“We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (cs-safety-critical-group) may not exist, or you may not have permission

 to post messages to the group. ”
 
The online group tells me I am a member …

I apologise to those who get this more than once, but I have sent it to the York list using both the old and the new addresses, and also to the Bielefeld list.
 
 
 
Reading the new Google group online, I saw and responded to Prof. Kelly’s poll about how the Safety Critical list should move forward. 

 
Today I realised that I only saw that message online and that it never arrived by email. 
This leads me to wonder how many people never saw the poll.
 
It would seem that messages sent to the Google address are not being sent to the mailing list subscribers.
 
 
 
Prof. Leveson’s Workshop notification and Derek Reinhardt’s Call for Papers both appear on the Google group and both arrived via Bielefeld, but neither came via the York email system, Prof. Ladkin’s follow-up to the latter is not in the
 Google group.
(This leads me to suspect that both original messages were sent to both lists, and that Prof. Ladkin responded only on his Bielefeld list.)
