The Telegraph offers a wry assessment<http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/01/04/earthquake-38-magnitude-laughed-yorkshire-town/> of the fallout after the Yorkshire seaside town of Scarborough barely noticed it had been struck by one of the biggest earthquakes to hit the UK in almost a decade.
The paper says that during the 3.8 magnitude tremor, which happened two nights ago, a woman reportedly lost control of her frying pan and afterwards people tweeted pictures of fallen wheelie-bins and capsized deckchairs, together with the slogan "We will rebuild".
