[SystemSafety] Interesting distinction

I think this means that it is “hazardous” in the sense of COSHH regulations, i.e. potentially toxic or having some effect on human health, but not “dangerous” in the sense of corrosive, flammable or explosive.

Perhaps someone else on the list knows better.

On my drive into work, I got stuck behind a tanker lorry for several miles.  Its load safety placard said “Hazardous Not Dangerous”.  Is this saying that the load is potable but I could still drown in it, or what?
