Les, as it seems you are not going to dig back through the archives, the
six C's are simply:-

Requirements shall be Clear, Concise, Coherent, Complete, Correct and 
Confirmable.

Requirements that meet all the above six C's will generally be much better
to begin work from. Geting them into that sort of shape often requires
some work be expended in a to and fro activity with the client.
