Yes, well worth reading.

The little data I have on the subject: http://www.knosof.co.uk/ESEUR/
is that it cost of fixing a fault environment dependent.

If its cheap to run the code, its generally cheap to fix the fault.

So fixing faults that requires access to expensive hardware is
expensive.

And if the cost of fixing the fault in the field is included and there
is lots of hardware in the field, it can be real expensive.
