Like the "complete lack" exhibited by the work of Boehm, Adams and Humphrey (and, if you like, 
extended by Thayer et al).

I am glad you acknowledged them. It shows, I think, that one cannot take your comments such as the 
one above at all seriously. Which was my point.

But then you seem to want people to read what you write, referencing your URLs. And at the same time 
you spout nonsense such as the above, and are then content to acknowledge - indeed expand upon - the 
obvious counterexamples. It's contradictory - why would anybody want to read anything written by 
somebody who does this? (Except of course for amusement on a mailing list, for which I thank you.)
