The BEA has published (on behalf of the NTSB) a brief notice saying the upset only lasted 4 to 5 seconds, and the autopilot apparently remained engaged and corrected the flight path: https://bea.aero/en/investigation-reports/notified-events/detail/incident-to-the-airbus-a320-registered-n605jb-operated-by-jetblue-on-30-10-2025-near-tampa-ad/
I assume that the following descent was initiated by the flight crew, perhaps in preparation of a precautionary landing.
Kind regards, Bernd
