By chance I recently came across an overview of the new ISO 29119
Software Testing standard, based on a talk given by Dr Stuart Reid to my
local BCS branch. Dr Reid chairs the BCS Specialist Group in Software
Testing, and the overview runs to 24 pages (see
http://www.bristol.bcs.org.uk/?q=node/168#comment-2418).

I realise that the standard is still under development, but does anyone
have any experience of working with the drafts, or have a view on how
helpful this standard might be for safety-critical software?

      James Inge.
